Gullivers Sports Travel, the UK’s leading rugby tour operator, is staging its first West Wales Rugby Festival, next spring, to be hosted by Aberystwyth RFC.
The rugby festival is open to under 8s-14s and will be played on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 April 2009. It has already attracted teams from all over the UK, including Manchester, London and Cardiff.
Ricky Davies, Gullivers’ Festivals Manager said: “Aberystwyth RFC has staged an international rugby festival for a number of years and is well equipped to host such an event. Gullivers is very excited by the prospect of making this festival more popular than ever and is looking forward to introducing clubs to this stunning and rugby mad destination.”
The festival costs from £79 per person, which includes three nights’ self catering accommodation at Quay West Holiday Park and entry into the festival. Gullivers is encouraging teams to bring along supporters and family members too, to continue the ethos of the Gullivers’ rugby festivals.
